Yisrael Edutainment Production Studio Announces Eminent Domain, an Independent Sci-Fi Feature Film

NEW ORLEANS, LA — Yisrael Edutainment Production Studio announces Eminent Domain, a debut independent science fiction feature film written, directed, and produced by theologian, educator, jazz musician, and cultural institution builder Dr. Lud Yisrael.
The film is set in a near-future Earth that has achieved something humanity has always dreamed of: genuine utopia. No wars. No famine. No conflict. For the first time in history, the planet is at peace. Then, without warning, an alien race arrives through dimensional portals and claims Earth as their own, deploying a cyborg clone army to eradicate everything on it. With no standing military and no playbook for a threat like this, a group of retired soldiers are pulled back into service for one final mission.

The film was produced with virtually no budget, a volunteer cast, and a small crew — with Dr. Lud Yisrael serving as the primary creative force behind the camera at every stage of production. It features dimensional travel, parallel universes, and a cyborg army alongside the human story of people who choose to stand up when it matters most.

Filmmaker Bio
Dr. Lud Yisrael is a Renaissance man in the truest sense of the phrase. Born April 7, 1966, in Chicago, Illinois, he studied Music Education and Mass Communications at the University of Montevallo and Business Administration and Physics at Auburn University at Montgomery, receiving his Doctorate of Theology in 1994. He served as a chemical weapons officer in the U.S. Army before returning to music and going on to build one of New Orleans’ most distinctive music education institutions, the Neo Jazz School of Music, founded in 2004.
His creative ecosystem spans music, film, radio, wellness, theology, martial arts, visual art, and community education. He is the founder of Yisrael Records Inc., co-founder of Yisrael Edutainment Production Studio, and the driving force behind The Wavelength YouTube channel, YAHWEHradio.com, and the Over 60 Workout wellness platform.
Eminent Domain is his debut feature film — a sci-fi alien-invasion thriller he wrote, directed, and produced on virtually no budget with a volunteer cast and crew, proving what forty years of creative discipline, technical mastery, and sheer vision can build without Hollywood’s infrastructure or permission.
